March 15, 2025, marks a milestone for Karma Cat Rescue Society – 15 years of rescue, adoption, and advocacy for cats in need. What began in 2010, when sisters Christie and Michelle Arlotta founded the organization to provide a safe and peaceful haven for homeless, abandoned, or abused animals, has blossomed into a life-saving mission that has touched the lives of countless felines and the people who love them. On this special anniversary, we invite you to be part of something truly impactful.
What Is Karma Day?
Karma Day – OUR biggest virtual day of giving – replaces Giving Tuesday as our annual one-day online giving event dedicated to raising the critical funds that keep our rescue efforts going. That’s right, you won’t see us bugging you for a donation on Giving Tuesday this year – we’re making our own giving day!! Every donation made on (before AND after) March 15 directly supports:
- Rescue & Adoption – Giving abandoned, stray, and at-risk cats a second chance at a forever home.
- Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) – Helping to humanely reduce the stray and feral cat population.
- Community Outreach – Providing education, resources, and support to cat lovers and caretakers.
Why It Matters More Than Ever
Since 2010, Karma Cat Rescue Society has been a safe haven for cats who had nowhere else to go. We’ve witnessed heartbreaking stories turn into happily-ever-afters, thanks to the kindness of people like you. But rescue never stops. Every day, more cats need medical care, safe shelter, and loving homes—and your support on Karma Day makes all of this possible.
How You Can Help on Karma Day
- Donate – Every dollar goes directly to helping cats in need. A little goes a long way! (Check with your employer to see if they match donations!!)
- Fundraise – Rally your friends, family, and coworkers to join in and amplify your impact.
- Spread the Word – Share your love for Karma Cat and encourage others to give using #KarmaDay315.
- Get Involved – Adopt, foster, or volunteer – because there are so many ways to change a life.
